I had spanish class with her my sophomore year her freshmen year. We always had good times and laughed a lot. She was always there to cheer me up when i was down. I wish i had got to know her better. she was an amazing friend. i love and miss you so much Kayla! See you soon!

I did not know Kayla personally, but was informed about Kayla through a good friend who knew her. I kept up with her on her Caringbridge page. My heart grieves with her family and friends at her loss. I lost my grandmother at the same time that Kayla went to be with the Lord, and lost my brother less than two years ago. I know the pain that you feel. I will be praying that you all are comforted by the love of those that surround you during this difficult time and by our loving God who can heal all wounds.

I did not personally know Kayla, but through Kayla's friend Makenzy I feel that I knew her. I prayed for her and ached for her. My heart now aches for Kayla's family. You all are in my prayers during this difficult time.

My heart breaks for your loss and know that you will miss her everyday. I also know that she is in the presence of God and only knows happiness now. She touched many lives, mine included, and I count myself as blessed for having known her.

amber, this is just beautiful. i read caringbridge every day and really loved to hear what people said. im sure this will be good also. i know i didnt see kayla often but she was my first great niece and i loved her with all my heart. i just loved it when you all came up so i could see how the girls had grown. i love you and you will always be so special to me...judy
